Relaunch of in medias res campus literary magazine
As the magazine's Editor-in-Chief and team leader in 2020-21, I was tasked with relaunching in medias res with new processes for online production.

I took this opportunity to rebrand as a vibrant, community-focused publication, by developing and later evaluating a new design, marketing strategy and editorial guide.

Before the pandemic, the publication was at risk of disapearing due to low readership and submission numbers. During my term, submissions more than doubled — one year later, it is still doing better than ever.
Board of Directors member for festival attended by approx. 10,000
The Nuit Blanche Saskatoon BoD has had to adapt quickly to host the annual city-wide outdoors festival safely, while still connecting with the local arts community.
As a BoD member focusing on communication, I learnt about best practices in digital outreach, and how important they are for organizations in a socially-distanced world. After months of deliverate social media strategy, the 2021 festival was the best attended Nuit Blanche Saskatoon yet.

I am currently helping build on this momentum by being part of the organization's new e-commerce initiative and managing the Nuit Blanche website.
Elected Board of Directors member in national journalism association
I started at the Canadian University Press Board of Directors in 2020, as the Prairies/North regional representative.
In my position, I was the point of communication for all the member publications in my region, and I was part of discussions about organizational direction as part of the Board.

To address the inequities present in the publishing industry, even at the student level, I proposed the creation of and CUP Equity Committee. The group's programming has been successful and is still widely attended by both members and the public.
